Shane Rangi is a New Zealand actor and stunt performer originally from Tikitiki and now residing in Wellington. He is best known for his costume stunt work in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings film trilogy (Witch-king of Angmar, Harad Leader/Oliphaunt driver) and The Chronicles of Narnia film trilogy (General Otmin, Aslan, Asterius, Tavros).
Known as one of the world’s premiere costume stunt performers, Shane is tirelessly working and traveling most of the year. However, when he has some down time from acting and stunt work, he spends his days working at Weta Digital. He also plays a mean guitar in a band called Koko.
